I’ve been looking through my website trying to come up with ways to fill it up as it’s a bit empty.
I think I’ll try some album reviews, should be quite be fun as I love studying music as much as playing it.

Going down the New inn open mic night again on wednesday. Last week I played ‘Clues’ ‘Everylong’, ‘Lover you should’ve come over’, ‘zombie’ and ‘You need me’. It wasn’t as busy last week so I got to play more songs. Might play a few porcupine tree songs this time.
When I get a decent camera I’ll record them and upload them to youtube.

Went down to the New Inn in Hurst last night for an Open mic night. Only the second week it’s been on but it was packed.
I jammed, Little wing, Wild horses, Hallelujah and Ain’t no sunshine with the organiser and then played You need me, A-team and Good riddance on my own.
Gonna start going every Wednesday so if you’re around Hurst come down at around 8 on Wednesdays 
Just signed up for BBC Introducing. You can upload your songs and the DJs listen to them. If they like them then they’ll play them on Your local BBC Introducing radio station.

Got into BIMM! 
Had my audition on Saturday and played PMA from Rockschool grade 6. On the open day they told me they would only judge my guitar playing so I decided to scrap the Ed Sheeran song.
So a year of guitar diploma course ahead of me
Then I need to figure out what to do while my mates are finishing their second year course.
I can work, do a song-writing diploma or go straight into the BA Hons course; I’ll figure that out nearer the time though

Going to see BIMM on Wednesday and then have my audition on Saturday. I’m gonna play the SBTV version of Ed sheerans ‘You need me’. The 3rd verse is so bloody hard, almost done though.

It’s a bit late but Merry Christmas
Got a Tweed Fender hard-case for my Strat which is sooo lush. I also got a Boss RC-30 Loop pedal. Really confusing but I love it. Spent all day playing it Now realised I need the Boss FS-6, which isn’t to expensive so I’m gonna buy that too
I wanna buy a Hi-watt 4×12 with the Maxwatt G200. Probably need to save for abit but I’m gonna buy it with my Christmas money and part-ex it with my jackson
So yeah, didn’t get into Brit because I’m outside catchment. I’ve appealed but I doubt it’ll change their mind.
I went to ACM open day on Saturday and am definitely applying there, it was amazing. Doesn’t seem to hard to get into either.
I’m of to Bimm at the beginning of January and then have an audition a few days after. If i get into both, It’s gonna be a tough choice deciding between the two.
Merry Christmas
Got my grade 6 results back. Passed with merit was only five marks off distinction! It’s because i completely buggered up the melodic recall only got 5/10. Got 17/20 on Musement park and One by One and 18/20 on PMA.
Annoyed i didn’t get distinction but at least now I have a certificate to show Brit.
No point moaning, off to learn the grade 8 pieces. I’m doing Some you win, 667 and fusion.
